We dispense NHS and private prescriptions. We dispense traditional paper prescriptions but also electronic prescriptions (EPS). Speak to a member of staff about nominating us to your surgery. You will then be able to come straight to the pharmacy to collect your prescription.
We also deliver dispensed prescriptions within the local area.
Return all of your unused or unwanted medicines to the pharmacy and we will send them to be safely disposed of.
We can order your prescription on your behalf if you are unable to get down to your surgery to order it yourself.
Once you have signed up to the service and given us consent to order on your behalf, simply let us know what medicines you need and we will order them for you.
Please don't let yourself run out of medication and always order when you still have a few days medication left.
You can order your prescription by handing in a request at the pharmacy, by telephoning the pharmacy or online through the prescription service tab on this site.
(If your are telephoning we request that you do not call with prescription requests over the lunchtime period between 12 noon and 2pm).

Think Pharmacy First allows people who receive free prescriptions to go straight to their pharmacist to receive treatment without needing to visit their GP to get a prescription first. The scheme is available to adults and children who are entitled to free prescriptions.The service includes the following conditions: Aches and pains, bites,stings,skin reactions,constipation,diarrhoea,coughs and colds,hay fever, head lice, teething, thrush, threadworms,conjunctivitis,warts and verrucae.
We are able to supply medication in Monitored Dose trays (Nomad system) for people who need a little help with their medication, those with Carers administering their medication or for Care homes.

During the seasonal influenza campaign period our pharmacists are able to give Free Flu vaccinations to people who fall into the nationally agreed target groups. We also offer a private Flu vaccination service for adults over 18 years of age. Please ask about the cost of a private vaccination.
Eligible patients who do not have any contraindications to the vaccination will be offered the vaccination by a fully trained and accredited pharmacist.
If you have been prescribed a new medicine for asthma,COPD,Type 2 diabetes,antiplatelet/anticoagulant therapy or high blood pressure then we can offer you an appointment to make sure that you get off to a good start. One of our pharmacists can speak to you by appointment in the pharmacy or by telephone. We can help you if you have initial problems or side effects with your new medicine and with advice about why you should take it and the best way to use your medicine. We can report any problems back to your GP.
We will follow this up with another telephone call after a few weeks to make sure that everything is still ok.
We keep a wide range of over the counter medicines to enable you to treat most minor ailments. This includes coughs,colds, pain relief,first aid and treatments for allergies and rashes.
We also offer healthy living advice.
All of the pharmacy staff are trained to provide you with expert help and advice on self treatment.
We offer a Free delivery service within the local area.

We will coach you over a 12 week quit period and help you through the tough days ahead while you kick the habit.
