The pill can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex, but it is more effective the sooner it is taken. The product is marketed under the brand Levonelle. Alternatively, Ella One can be taken up to 5 days after unprotected sex. The supply will be made personally by the Pharmacist and will involve a confidential discussion in the private consultation room. The supply needs to be made to the person who will take the pill and a few, slightly personal questions will need to be asked to check that EHC is necessary, safe and likely to be effective. The over the counter license for supply is to women over 16. Please note that there are treatments which are effective after the 72-hour window which can be obtained from either your GP surgery or family planning clinics.
Subject to accreditation and eligibility we can supply emergency medication if you have run out of a medication, it has been lost or damaged or because you have left home without it. Where the emergency medication supply is not available as an NHS service, patients can pay privately.

We can therefore use this comprehensive record to ensure that the medicines you are prescribed are suitable and don't interact with other medicines already being taken.
As we age, unfortunately our bladder control often weakens. At the Cecil Jones Pharmacy group we have a wide range of incontinence products in stock and available to order. The TENA brand is stocked by us and if you visit the TENA website you can see the full product range. TENA will also send out free samples to the public, so you can find the product that suits your needs.
Due to the bulky nature of these products we do not have space to display them all on the shop floor so if you can't find what you need contact a member of staff who will be pleased to help. If we don't have a product in stock, we can usually order it for the next day.
